Katie Karnehm-Esh has been practicing yoga since her mid-twenties when she needed a way to take care of her body while training for half marathons. While living abroad in England from 2005-2008 she began taking an ashtanga class and fell in love with the practice. In 2013, living back in Marion, Indiana, she began a teacher training program in Fort Wayne. Since then, she has taught regular classes in Marion and Fort Wayne as well as teaching individual yoga sessions with college athletic teams at Indiana Wesleyan University. She has taught heated yoga, and currently teaches power yoga, vinyasa flow, and yin yoga. Her goal is to use yoga to help students listen to and understand their bodies and minds in unison.
