Manouk is an E-RYT500 Advanced Yoga Teacher and certified Yoga Therapist, and has been a dedicated yoga practitioner for over fifteen years. She first came to yoga as a teenager, and hasn’t left her mat since, as the practice has helped her through some of the most challenging periods in her life (including two open-heart surgeries). Manouk has been teaching for more than 5 years and has completed 1500+ hours of training in yoga, massage therapy and holistic health coaching.
Manouk currently teaches on 200hr YTTs, and also leads modular trainings in Yin and Restorative Yoga, as well as offering private Yoga Therapy sessions to individuals to support their mental health or those seeking to heal from pain, chronic illness or long-standing injuries. She intends to open a training and retreat centre in the near future, offering a space for individuals and groups seeking a safe space to move and breathe freely and to develop their practice of yoga through a hands-on and individualised approach.
Safety, simplicity and intuition are key principles in Manouk’s classes. Realising that people all have different life stories that have shaped who they are - physically, mentally and emotionally - allows her students to feel embraced, understood and respected. Practicing with Manouk is a unique and empowering experience, as each class will build on the fundamentals of developing a mind-body connection, and witnessing the sense of feeling fully alive as we reconnect to being present.
