Amanda first found yoga as a way to ease sore muscles from years of playing sports. Her practice blossomed while she was in college, as the movement and mindfulness helped her adjust to a new location and lifestyle. It was during those college years when she became curious about the finer points of yoga. After years of taking public classes and using what she learned to develop a steady home practice routine, she earned her 200 hour RYT at South Boston Yoga Center with David Vendetti and Todd Skoglund.
Since her 200 hour RYT certification from South Boston Yoga, Amanda has continued to explore different styles, disciplines, and philosophies within the yoga realm. She has studied with Vinyasa yoga with Jason Crandell, Iyengar yoga Nikki Costello, and Restorative yoga with Brenna Matthews and Alex Bauermeister. She brings lessons from each part of her own yoga journey into her teaching, crafting a style that incorporates strength through stretching, mindfulness through movement, and a lighthearted approach to a rejuvenating, joyful practice.
