Mandy first came to yoga in 2001 as an actor who was looking for ways to manage anxiety. She immediately discovered that yoga offered tools to ease tension in her body, focus her mind, and liberate her energy.
Mandy’s known for teaching yoga classes that are inspiring and rejuvenating. For the past 20 years, she has worked in professional theater. She’s toured her original performances to diverse venues from Montreal to Bogota, and from the New York Clown-Theatre Festival to the White House. In 2022, she was honored to be named the Maine Arts Commission’s Performing Arts Fellow, recognized for artistic excellence and a “joyful spirit for ferocious play.”
Mandy completed her 200-hour training with Sacred Seeds Yoga School, directed by Jacqui Bonwell. She went on to receive a 500-hour certification with Yoga Liberation Front training, directed by David Vendetti.
As a yoga teacher, coach, and theater artist, she’s passionate about helping others align their mind/body/heart, embody joy, and create with radical freedom.
