Charlottesville: July Community Meet-Up Recap

On July 24, Yoga Alliance® President Richard Karpel (2012 – 2014) met with six yogis in Charlottesville, Virginia to learn about the local yoga scene. The attendees told Richard about the challenges Registered Yoga Teachers (RYT®s) face in Charlottesville and they discussed how the University of Virginia and other nonprofit yoga centers are affecting the area’s yoga community.

We would like to thank to our Charlottesville-area members for sharing their ideas and concerns directly to Richard and we hope this sets a precedent for more great get-togethers to come within our community.
